I live on a dirt road in Madison County, Montana, about as far off the grid as you can get, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

After a career as a real estate broker and home builder, backed by an MBA in Finance, I’ve traded deadlines for fly rods. These days, you’ll find me on the rivers of Montana and Wyoming, doing what I enjoy most.

My wife, Pamela, a retired Emergency Room physician and I have been married for 52 years. Together, we’ve built a life we’re proud of, including two children and six grandchildren.

Our daughter and her family live in Newport Beach, California, while our son recently made the move from La Jolla to Basel, Switzerland.

When winter rolls in, we head south to Borrego Springs, California, though we make it a point to pass through Slowjamastan whenever we can. It’s become a tradition, especially with a stop at the Westmorland Date Shake Shop… some of the best date shakes you’ll ever have.
