MacKenzie Swain

Ambassador to Washington County

MacKenzie Swain serves as the Republic of Slowjamastan’s Ambassador to Allegheny and Washington Counties, Pennsylvania, bringing a distinctly Southwestern Pennsylvania blend of practicality, personality, and just the right amount of chaos to the diplomatic corps.

With a background spanning transportation, operations, training, public service, and more than a few technically complicated projects, Swain is most comfortable when there is a problem to solve, a system to improve, or something unusual to figure out. That same curiosity and hands-on approach now extends to representing Slowjamastan across the Pittsburgh region.

A lifelong enthusiast of transportation, communications, technology, and public service, Ambassador Swain approaches the role with genuine enthusiasm for meeting people, building connections, and introducing unsuspecting Pennsylvanians to the wonderful world of Slowjamastan.

When not conducting extremely important international diplomacy, Swain can usually be found working on a vehicle, experimenting with radios and technology, traveling, or finding another project that was probably supposed to be simple.
